Your airport taxi to Alphington: Tullamarine to your door

Alphington sits on a bend of the Yarra River in Melbourne’s inner north-east, beside Yarra Bend Park and next to Fairfield. The former paper mill site has been redeveloped into new homes and cafes, making it a favourite for residents returning home and visitors staying nearby. The trip is around 23 km and normally takes 30 to 40 minutes outside peak times. Heidelberg Road and the Chandler Highway can back up on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time for early flights or tight connections.

Parks, trails and stations nearby

Alphington and Fairfield stations on the Hurstbridge line are close, and the Yarra Trail is a good place for a walk after a long flight.
